Mosaic Publicity is a well-established training agency based in Essex, whose trainers have been accredited by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. Not only are our trainers all former BBC radio and TV reporters or newspaper editors, but we are also skilled Public Relations practitioners. This means your experience is as real as it gets!


Kevin Bentley
spent more than 20 years with the BBC, the latter half as a TV reporter with BBC Look East and a parliamentary reporter and producer on the BBC’s East at Westminster programme.He has worked on Radios 1,2 and 4 and was a sub editor on Ceefax.

He has also worked for numerous local radio stations, including BBC Essex. He is a past National President of the Round Table organisation and has been passing on his media training and presentation skills for over a decade.


Karen Ainley
is a former TV presenter and reporter with BBC Look East, and also presented documentaries for the BBC 2 Matter of Fact series. She started her journalism career on the Braintree & Witham Times, before moving to the Colchester Evening Gazette as the Health Reporter.She spent four years as a radio reporter and newsreader with BBC Essex before moving into television.

She is a co-founder of Mosaic Publicity and has been media training captains of industry for over a decade. As a graduate in Publishing and Computer Studies, she  loves all things techie, and is heavily involved in podcasting.


Irene Kettle
has been a journalist for more than 30 years. She was Editor-in-Chief of Essex County Newspapers, Editor of the four edition Evening Gazette and the Essex County Standard. During her time working in newspapers Irene also worked as a reporter, sub-editor and group news editor.She has experience of NHS communications having worked as Head of Internal and External Relations for a Primary Care Trust.

Irene now works as a freelance media consultant and editor of an award-winning business to business magazine. Several times a year Irene helps with the National Council For the Training of Journalists’ examinations.

 

John Venables is a journalist with many years’ experience in BBC radio, television and online news as a reporter, producer, specialist science and environment correspondent and journalism instructor. He is a CIPR Approved Trainer and Excellence Awards judge. He is a former Press Fellow of Wolfson College, Cambridge, and the author of four books about the media.

 

Lindsey Gray is responsible for managing our media training bookings. She spent 12 years of her career in television production working at Sky Television, London Weekend Television and various other independent production companies.

In 1999 Lindsey started the UK’s first website for parenting multiples www.twinsclub.co.uk , she has written and edited various other websites – including www.alantitchmarsh.com – and managed a number of social media campaigns.
